Welcome to module 2. In this section I would like to
introduce you to the idea of blue farming - food production, which is aquaculture - obtaining food from
water environments and plant cultivation based on water media. I
will show you how important the
blue farming is
in today’s world. We will talk about
the water
management on a macroscale – aquaculture (obtaining food from water
environments), but also on a microscale – e.g. hydroponics (plant cultivation
based on water media).
