  • 1.The concept of Blue Economy

    • Welcome to module 1. In this section I would like to introduce you to the idea of blue economy. I will show you how important the blue economy is in today’s world.  You will understand why the blue economy is one of the most important elements of sustainable development. The following topics will be covered in this module:

      1.Sustainable Development Goals
      2.Goal number 14 - Life Below Water
      3.Introduction to the Blue Economy
      4.Sectors of  the Blue Economy
      5.Interesting cases of blue economy solutions from the world

      At the end, a short test will be conducted to consolidate the knowledge gained.

  • 2. The idea of blue farming – food production (aquaculture - obtaining food from water environments and plant cultivation based on water media).

    • Welcome to module 2. In this section I would like to introduce you to the idea of blue farming - food production, which is aquaculture - obtaining food from water environments and plant cultivation based on water media. I will show you how important the blue farming is in today’s world.  We will talk about the water management on a macroscale – aquaculture (obtaining food from water environments), but also on a microscale – e.g. hydroponics (plant cultivation based on water media).

      The following topics will be covered in this module:

      2.Water management on a macroscale (aquaculture) and microscale (hydroponics)
      3.Blue Enterpreneurs Blue Farmers
      4.Interesting cases of blue farming solutions from the world

      We will reminde the most important information about Blue Farming, which we rememeber from the Modul 1 and Modul 2

      We will talk about:

      2.Blue Farming - Ocean Energy
      3.Blue Enterpreneurs - Blue Energy
      4.Interesting cases of blue farming solutions - renewable energy generation, from the world

      After the compliting the course, in order to check the acquired knowledge - you will take a short summary test.

  • 4. The water resources management, protection of water resources, conservation and ocean sustainability.

    • Welcome to module 4. In this section I would like to introduce you to the idea of blue farming - the idea of blue farming -the water resources management, protection of water resources, conservation and ocean sustainability. I will show you how important the blue farming is in today’s world in the context of the water/ocean resources management, the ocean and marine life protection. I will show you interesting cases of blue farming solutions - protection of water resources, conservation and ocean sustainability, from the world.

      The following topics will be covered in this module:

      1. We will reminde the most important information about Blue Farming, which we rememeber from the Modul 1, Modul 2 and Modul 3
      2. We will talk again about the Goal number 14 - Life Below Waterm as the proper water resources management and water protection are included in the idea of this goal. 
      3. We will also discuss how to balance economy and nature and ways to protect the oceans. 
      4. We will talk about Blue Organiozations, Blue Enterpreneurs and get to know some of the interesting solutions of ocean protection from the world.

      After the compliting the course, in order to check the acquired knowledge - you will take a short summary test.
