Unit 1: Basic Tools

Welcome to the course on technical terminology and translation.

In Unit 1 you will learn about some basic tools and how to organize them in a workplace. Let's get started!

Unit 2: Power Tools

In the previous unit, you learned about some basic tools, how to use them and how to organize them in a workshop.

Unit 3: Architecture part 1

Unit 8: RES - Wind Turbines

The previous unit was not only the last in the series on civil engineering and construction, but also the first in a series on energy. Hydroelectric power plants produce electricity from water, which is a renewable source of energy (odnawialne źródło energii). In the following two classes we will focus on other RES (Renewable Energy Sources, in Polish: OZE). This unit will focus on wind turbines.

Unit 10: Nuclear Power

However, these renewable energy sources have a disadvantage: they are intermittent (dostępne okresowo), which means you can't rely on them to be available exactly when you need them. Therefore, in this last unit about energy, we will learn about nuclear power - a conventional and reliable, but also a controversial source of energy.
