The
module will focus on 4 main areas of interest:
1. The wellbeing
leader: In
this section, we will learn why the role of the leader is a key part of introducing wellbeing in an organisation. We will
explore how leaders can become role models for healthy lifestyles and good wellbeing practices, while influencing
their subordinates.
2.wellbeing as a leadership competence: We will focus on how wellbeing can become a leadership
competence and what this means. We will discuss how by developing their skills,
knowledge and attitudes related to wellbeing, leaders can grow in this area
and create a positive working environment. We will also learn what a competency
ladder is.
3.Leader wellbeing practices: In this section, we will present
practical strategies and tools that leaders can implement in their daily work
to promote wellbeing among their teams. We will focus
on aspects such as work-life balance, stress management skills and building
healthy relationships.
4.Wellbeing in team leadership: The final part of the module will
look at how wellbeing can influence team leadership
and the achievement of organisational goals. We will focus on how promoting wellbeing can translate into increased
productivity, employee engagement and effective problem solving.
As
we begin this part of the course, we will dive into the world of the role of
the wellbeing leader and discover how
implementing positive change can create an organisation that cares about both
business success and the wellbeing of its employees.
